In-Kind Donations FAQ
InterAct gratefully accepts these NEW, UNOPENED and UNUSED items.
This comprehensive list represents the immediate and basic needs of the clients we serve. Our pantry provides these items to our clients so they do not have to worry about ensuring their basic needs (food, clothing, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, etc.) are met while under our direct care.
Survivors of domestic/intimate partner violence can be from any gender identity or sexual orientation. Our focus is on ensuring inclusive representation of gender-based violence (GBV) survivors across diverse gender, racial, ethnic, religious, and sexual orientation spectrums.
Thank you for donating these in-kind items as an individual, a group, or through a food drive. We cannot support our clients without YOU.

Donations can be dropped off at InterAct’s Pass It On Thrift Store in Raleigh and Fuquay-Varina. If you have a large In-Kind Donation, please let us know so that we can ensure there is staff to help!

Is there parking available?
There are designated donor parking spaces in front of the building in both Raleigh and Fuquay-Varina.
Will someone be available to help me?
To keep the store running smoothly and efficiently and provide great customer service, our staff cannot leave the store unattended to help unload donations from vehicles.
Do you do pick-ups, or do we need to deliver the donations ourselves?
InterAct is unable to do pick-ups. All donations must be delivered.
Can I get a receipt for my donation for tax purposes?
InterAct is recognized as a tax-exempt, 501 (c)(3) charity by the IRS (EIN: 58-1320613), and your contribution is deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donation receipts are available for donors to fill out when donating. Pass It On Thrift Store cannot provide a donation receipt for any donations dropped off after hours.
I want to make a specific donation but I do not see it on your list, can I still bring it?

I have donations but would like to give them directly to the clients served. Is this possible?
Since the individuals and families we serve often transition out of dangerous situations, we keep their identities confidential. Therefore, donors can’t meet the clients who will benefit from their contributions.
