Court Advocate
This position is part of the Planning and Strategic Initiatives staff which provides direct services and support to victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault with special emphasis on battered women or men seeking relief through criminal and civil courts. This position will be in office 4 hours per week and 36 hours at the Wake County Courthouse.

Part-Time Evening Crisis Line Coordinator
This position will focus on the needs of all crisis line callers.  This involves serving as an in office counselor on the 24-hour crisis lines between the hours of 4 pm and 8 pm Monday through Friday (Hours may vary), specifically but not limited to answering crisis calls.  Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to Lethality Assessment Program (LAP) emergency shelter intakes, supportive counseling, advocacy and data entry.

Part-Time Shelter Monitor
The purpose of this position is to maintain the shelter household, including but not limited to, maintenance coordination, and room preparation. The Shelter House Monitor is also responsible for providing clerical support for the Shelter Program and is responsible for providing ongoing support for the Shelter Program. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 7am – 12pm.

Part-Time Overnight Shelter Staff
This position will focus on the needs of all residents (adults and children) in the shelter for battered women and children from 11 pm Sunday to 7 am Monday. This position also involves serving as a counselor on InterAct’s 24-hour crisis lines between  and serves as a prn position.  Overnight Shelter Staff will provide support to residents as needs arise and provide administrative support to the department. The Overnight Shelter Staff is an awake position.
