Group Counseling

Rebuilding life after abuse can feel lonely and overwhelming. InterAct’s group counseling, led by trained counselors, allows survivors to find healing and strength through shared experiences.

Group counseling is beneficial for survivors because group members can regain confidence, reduce their feelings of isolation, overcome fear, and gain additional support from others experiencing similar events.

Group counseling is available for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors who have received individual counseling with InterAct. Groups are offered throughout the year in the evening.  Each group session is 8 weeks. Spanish-speaking groups are available.

Asesoramiento grupal de InterAct

Reconstruir la vida después del abuso puede resultar solitario y abrumador. El asesoramiento grupal de InterAct, dirigido por consejeros capacitados, permite a los sobrevivientes encontrar curación y fortaleza a través de experiencias compartidas.

El asesoramiento grupal es un beneficio para los sobrevivientes porque los miembros del grupo pueden recuperar la confianza, reducir sus sentimientos de aislamiento, superar el miedo y obtener apoyo adicional de otras personas que experimentan eventos similares.

Hay asesoramiento grupal disponible para sobrevivientes de violencia doméstica y agresión sexual que hayan recibido asesoramiento individual con InterAct. Se ofrecen grupos durante todo el año por la tarde.  Cada sesión grupal es de 8 semanas. Hay grupos de habla hispana disponibles.
