Help is available 24/7! You are not alone.

COVID-19 is now characterized as a pandemic by the World Health Organization. It continues to spread globally, throughout the US, and locally. In an effort to protect the individuals and families we serve InterAct is taking the following steps:

For Victims and Survivors of Domestic and Sexual Violence

For your safety, and the safety of others, InterAct has suspended walk-in services.

We know that for everyone, home isn’t always safe. And help is available, 24/7!

If you experience domestic violence or sexual assault during the COVID-19 pandemic, you are not alone! InterAct is here for you.

InterAct’s crisis counselors are available by phone 24/7 for safety planning,  advocacy, and connection to resources. Please call 919-828-7740.

You may also chat online with a crisis counselor, Monday – Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Chat with a counselor.

If you are in immediate danger, please call 911.

For the Community

InterAct’s Pass It On stores (Fuquay-Varina and Raleigh) are closed for the time being.

We will only be accepting in-kind donations of shelf stable meals, hand soap and sanitizer, cleaning supplies, and toilet paper and paper towels. We ask that you visit our Urgent Needs List for more details.

Remember, this may be a frightening and isolating time for survivors and their children.  We know that a crisis such as the COVID-19 pandemic will add additional pressures to survivors and others who are already more vulnerable to economic and health insecurity.

InterAct stands ready to help, in all times, including this health crisis.
