This position is part of the Personal and Economic Empowerment staff which provides direct services and support to victims of domestic violence with special emphasis with victims of domestic violence who have an open case with the Wake County Human Services Child Welfare divisions. This position will split time between the InterAct office and the Wake County Department of Human Services.  The Child Welfare Domestic Violence Counselor/Case Manager will be a liaison between the Wake County Human Services Child Welfare and InterAct staff.

 Crisis Counselor – Full Time 

The Crisis Counselor will be responsible for providing delivery of coordinated, effective crisis intervention services, including lethality assessment, supportive counseling, intensive safety planning, provision of basic needs, and information and referrals to individuals and families who have experienced or are experiencing domestic violence and/or sexual violence order to promote safety, support, stabilization and healing from the effects of violence and abuse.

Work First Outreach Counselor

The purpose of this position is to provide direct service and crisis intervention to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence. The Work First Outreach Counselor provides services to Work First recipients through Wake County Human Services Work First unit. This position will split time between the InterAct and Wake County Human Services. The Work First Outreach Counselor will be a liaison between Wake County Human Services and InterAct staff.

Outreach Case Manager – Two Positions Available.

The purpose of this position is to provide direct service(s) to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking at four outreach sites. Outreach sites include: Wake County Human Service’s Northern Regional Center, Southern Regional Center and Eastern Regional Center and other partners’ sites as designated. The position of Counselor/Case Manager is part of the Personal and Economic Empowerment (PEEP) program which provides case management, advocacy and support services to adult victims and survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.

The position of Domestic Violence Case Manager is part of the Personal and Economic Empowerment program (PEEPS) staff, which provides case management, advocacy and support services to adult victims and survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.
