Rebuilding life after abuse can feel lonely and overwhelming. InterAct’s group counseling, led by trained counselors, allows survivors to find healing and strength through shared experiences. Group counseling is beneficial for survivors because group members can regain confidence, reduce their feelings of isolation, overcome fear, and gain additional support from others experiencing similar events.

The compassionate staff at InterAct welcomed us with open arms, providing a safe haven during our darkest days. They recognized the unique barriers I faced and worked tirelessly to help me overcome them. One of the most impactful steps in my journey was attending a parenting class at InterAct, where I gained not only essential parenting skills but also valuable tools to address some of my personal challenges.
I never dreamed I could have a job, my own money, a real say in my life. At InterAct’s shelter, I found my voice again. I found my self-worth, and I like who I am.

Their support transformed our lives, giving us stability, hope, and a path forward. We are now on a journey of resilience and renewal, and I am eternally grateful for the lifeline that InterAct provided us.
